A question with three answers and a countdown

Hi, I'm Rushi!

Every question is a race.

One countdown for the whole room, three answers, and a leaderboard that moves after every question.

Any gathering with more than one phone.

A game is ten questions and takes three minutes, so it fits wherever people already are: around a table, on a call, or between two meetings.

  • Game night

Three minutes a game means everybody gets a rematch. Up to twelve players, one code, and nothing to shuffle or set up.

  • Family gatherings

Three answers and a big countdown are easy enough for grandparents and quick enough for teenagers. Pick a category everyone has a chance in.

  • Friends in different cities

Same question, same second, different time zones. A room works as well over a video call as it does across a sofa.

  • Team breaks

Ten questions fit between two meetings. It is a quick way to find out who in the office actually knows their geography.

  • Parties

Last One Standing and Sudden Death turn a quiz into a knockout. The players who are out stay to watch who survives.

  • On your own

Waiting for a bus, or for everyone else to arrive. Play today's Daily Rush, or a game solo against the clock and your own best score.

From a code to a winner in three minutes.

  1. 1

Start a room, share the code

Pick a game and a category, then send the six-character code. Friends join on their own phones, wherever they are.

  2. 2

    Beat the clock

Everyone gets the same question at the same moment. Three answers, fifteen seconds, and the faster you are right, the more you score.

  3. 3

    See who was fastest

Every question ends in a reveal: the right answer, who got it, and where that leaves the leaderboard.

Same questions. Different rules.

Every game runs on the same three-answer questions. What changes is how you win, and how you go out.

Let's play!

Games

  • Quick Fire

    10 questions, 15 seconds each

Fastest correct answers score highest. A right answer is worth up to 1,000 points, and less with every second.

  • Streak

    Build your multiplier

Every right answer in a row pushes your multiplier up, as far as 2×. One mistake resets it.

  • Last One Standing

One wrong and you are out

Get one wrong, or run out of time, and you are watching. The last player still in wins.

  • Sudden Death

    Somebody goes every question

A wrong answer puts you out. If everybody is right, the slowest goes instead.

  • First to 5

A race to five right answers

Forget the score. The first player to five correct answers wins, however long it takes.

  • Daily Rush

Ten questions, the same for everyone, and one go each. See how many players you beat, then send your result to the group chat.

  • Weekly leaderboard

Your best five games of the week count, solo or with friends, and beating friends earns a bonus. Climb your friends', your country's and the world's board.

  • Friend streaks

Keep a streak going with a friend. It grows on every day you both play, and you can nudge them when it is their turn.

  • Invite friends, earn Plus

Share your invite code. Earn points for every friend who plays, and a free week of Plus for every friend who upgrades.

Keep the bragging rights.

A game takes three minutes. What you did in it stays: your best scores, your rank, your streak and your badges are waiting the next time you open the app.

  • Six ranks to climb

Rookie, Quick, Sharp, Clutch, Ace, Legend. Your best score decides which one you are.

  • A streak to keep

Play once a day and your streak grows. Every seven days earns a streak freeze, which saves it on a day you miss. A home screen widget keeps it in sight.

  • Badges to earn

Sixteen achievements for showing up, playing well and playing together, from your first game to a hundred-day streak.

  • A score to beat

RushIQ remembers your best in every game. Share a score and dare the group to beat it.

Questions, answered.

Something else? Email [email protected].

How many people do I need?

One. Every game except First to 5 can be played solo, against the clock and your own best score. A room holds up to twelve players.

Does everyone need the app?

Yes. Everybody answers on their own phone, which is what makes it a race. The host starts a room and shares a six-character code or a link to join.

Do we have to be in the same room?

No. Everyone sees the same question at the same moment and the countdown runs on our servers, so it is fair whether you are on the same sofa or in different countries.

Is it free?

RushIQ is free to download, and quick play is free forever: any game, on General Knowledge, as often as you like. The Daily Rush, the weekly leaderboards and joining a friend's room are free too.

What is RushIQ Plus?

It opens every category in every game, and hosting rooms for friends. The subscription starts with three days free, then renews weekly, monthly or yearly until you cancel in your store settings. You can also pay once for Plus for life.

Can I buy Plus for life?

Yes. Lifetime is RushIQ Plus for one payment instead of a subscription. For launch it comes at a founder price, with a Founder badge by your name on every leaderboard.

What is the Daily Rush?

Ten questions a day, the same for every player, and one go each. When you finish you see how many players you beat and which of your friends have played. A new one arrives every day.

How does the weekly leaderboard work?

Your best five games of the week count, solo or with friends. Playing with people is worth a little more, and beating them earns a bonus. There is a board for your friends, your country and the world, and it starts again from zero every Monday.

What are wildcards?

One-off cards you take into a game: pick three before it starts and play one per question. Boosts help you — 50/50, 2X, Shield and more. Sabotages such as Lightning, Ink or Swarm scramble everyone else's screen for three seconds. 2X and Streak Saver are only in Quick Fire and Streak.

Do I need an account?

No email and no password. Choose a name and a photo and you are in. You can delete your account and everything attached to it from inside the app.

What languages does it support?

The app is available in English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Swedish, Russian, Japanese and Korean. The questions themselves are in English for now.
