RushIQ (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is operated by FlexByt, Inc.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the RushIQ mobile application, this website, and related services (together, the “Service”).

2. Information We Collect

RushIQ does not ask for an email address, a phone number or a password to play. We collect the following:

Your player profile

• the display name you choose
• the profile photo you choose to add

Your name and photo are shown to the other players in any game you join. Pick a name and a photo you are comfortable sharing with them.

Device and technical information

• a device identifier supplied by your phone’s operating system, used to recognise your player profile on that device
• your platform (iOS or Android)
• the language the app is set to
• your IP address and similar connection details, which our servers receive whenever the app talks to them

Gameplay information

• the games you create and join, and their game codes
• the answers you give and how quickly you give them
• your scores, results, personal bests and rank
• your play streak and the number of games you have played
• the wildcards you use

Purchases and subscriptions

If you subscribe to RushIQ Plus, we receive:

• whether your subscription is active, and when it renews or ends
• which store the subscription was bought from
• transaction identifiers

We never receive your card details. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store and Google Play, and subscription status is managed for us by RevenueCat.

Camera and photos

The app asks for access to your camera or photo library only when you choose to add a profile photo. We receive the one photo you pick, and nothing else from your library.

Information you send us

If you join the launch list, suggest a question, send feedback or email us, we collect what you submit, including your name and email address where you provide them.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• create and keep your player profile
• run games, keep score and show results to the players in them
• keep your personal bests, rank and streak
• provide RushIQ Plus to subscribers
• keep the Service working, find faults and fix them
• prevent cheating, abuse and fraud
• answer you when you contact us
• review the questions and feedback you send
• tell you about the launch, if you asked us to

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not show third-party ads.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information with service providers only as far as they need it to help us run the Service:

• the Apple App Store and Google Play, which process purchases
• RevenueCat, which manages subscription status
• our hosting and infrastructure providers, which store and serve the data

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information for as long as you have a player profile, and afterwards only as long as we need to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our terms.

You can delete your account from inside the app, under More → Delete account. This removes your name, your photo, your games and every score you have set. It cannot be undone.

Deleting the app does not delete your account. If you no longer have the app, email us at [email protected] and we will delete it for you.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• see the information we hold about you
• have it corrected
• have your account and its data deleted
• object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it
• receive a copy of it

7. Children’s Privacy

RushIQ is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information. Connections between the app and our servers are encrypted.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Users

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than the one you live in, where data protection law may differ.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.

Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
